With MINI, you can get punchy performance that doesn’t knock out the environment. We’ve developed a range of ingenious technology to enhance the performance and fuel efficiency in every* new MINI Hatchback and MINI Clubman. It’s all about ‘less is more’; we call it MINIMALISM.

The technology includes features such as the intelligent Auto Start-Stop Function that only uses energy when it needs to, so it saves you fuel. There’s also the Shift Point Display that tells you the most fuel-efficient gear to be in and the Brake Energy Regeneration system that captures energy when you’re braking or coasting, to recharge the battery with.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say. The MINI Cooper D Hatchback emits just 104g/km of CO2 and does a whopping 72.4mpg on the combined cycle, so you can spend less time at the pump and more time enjoying the exhilarating ride of your MINI.
